Gros Morne National Park

Today was a sunny day so we did what we were going to do yesterday. We took a drive through the Gros Morne National Park. We also took a three and a half mile hike to a mountain lake, Western Brook Pond. Then we were tired, thirsty and hungry so we went to yet another fishing village, Cows Head. On the way to Cows Head we saw a young caribou, walking down the road like he owned it. In Cows Head we had moose burgers for lunch. Kathie cannot eat beef, but appears to do fine with moose meat. This is good because we have three roast and some ground moose meat in the freezer, thanks to our new friends Wayne and Pam and her dad. We came home did some laundry and had dinner, then went to Lobster Head Lighthouse to catch the sunset.
