Time for an update to our plans

When I posted the last blog we were in Albany Marine Corp Base, in you guessed it Albany. While there we took a side trip to Planes and Americus, which is Horace’s birth place, as well as Jimmy Carter’s.

We then traveled to Adairsville, GA to take care of some Doctor appointments and Kathie had some dental work done. It was then on to Hiawassee, GA to stay for two week visiting my two sisters, Kathie’s parents and sister, and some other friends. We left there and traveled to Pennsylvania by way of NC, TN, VA, WV, and MD. Just south of Woodstock, VA there was a bad accident that closed all northbound traffic lanes for three hours. That was fun! After that cleared it was off to find fuel, dinner and a place to stay for the night. The next morning we continued on to our current location (Bechtelsville) for three days. We will visit friends in Pottstown, PA and buy some of the Amish foods in the area.

We will leave here and go to southern New York (but not too close to New York City) visit with a friend that runs the campground. We will stay there for 2 or 3 days before heading to Canada through VT, NH, and Maine. Our destination is New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island, Nova Scotia, and Newfoundland.

Sorry now photos at this time. However, I got a new telephoto lens for my camera and that part of Canada is suppose to be beautiful, so some will be forth coming for sure.

Not sure when they will be posted though may have to wait until we get back to the US. I use my phone a lot for internet connection and the phone will be off while we are in Canada. The international chargers are like $4.00 a minute, so the phone will be off both mine and Kathie’s.
