Sequoia National Park

Well we have moved on to (Naval Air Station) NAS Lemoore. Here we will go to the hospital and Kathie will see if she can get somethings taken care of. While here we are close to the Sequoia National Park so we will try to get a trip in. Well while the weather was good in Lemoore by the time we made it to Sequoia the fog was low. With the fog came rain and then with the higher elevation it became snow. We did not get to see the General Sherman Tree which is the biggest tree in the world. However, we did see other big one and the Sequoia are bigger then the redwoods. We where not able to take pictures because of low light and fog. Perhaps on some other trip in the future. We did get to see a black bear though. Will post a few pictures that we did take. The hospital in Lemoore has referred us to the hospital in San Diego so will will be off the San Diego in a day or so. The stay in Lemoore was from 05Nov09 to 14Nov09 and then departing for a one night stay in Edwards Air Force Base, before continuing on to San Diego. We do not know how long we will be in San Diego.
