The Magnificent Mount Rainier and Mount Saint Helen Scenic Drive - Day-1

On Wednesday May 20th we set out to see some of Washington's finest. Again going back to the book we have used before "The Most Scenic Drives in America", this time it was called "Magnificent Mount Rainier" with a side trip to Mount Saint Helen.

The route along the way on US Highway through Washington is quite scenic, with pictures along the way, and then arriving late, shortly before 17:00. Information Centers, at the base and Monument/Observatory at the highways end where closing. We decided to the 90 mile round trip to take pictures just in case the clouds came in tomorrow. So day one will have some pictures with light clouds and as it turn out day two will be bright and sunny.

Again the amount of picture is to many for the blog. So I will post them on the net and give a link. If you have trouble with the link all have to due is copy the link and paste it to the browser.
